My Scouting Report Quincy Morgan. Updated 12-01-00

Quincy Morgan will be one of the most sought after WR's in the 2001 NFL Draft. His size(6'1, 205) and speed(4.44) are the prototype of what an NFL team looks for. He also is able to get yards after the catch(YAC).

Morgan, who was a JUCO transfer, has made an impact since joining the Wildcat program in the fall of '99. He's become Jonathan Beasley's go to receiver and a leader on the team. Without Morgan KSU wouldn't have been where they are this year.

He's a playmaker that combines great size and speed. He's also a very good blocker down field. His ability to create after the catch is what the scouts love. He's able to turn 5 yards into 75 yards in the blink of an eye. He's a very special talent which is why he's high on my draft board.

My guess is that Quincy is a sure mid-first round selection. I think he'll be able to contribute immediately and have a very solid pro career. He'll probably make a few trips to Hawaii in Febuary too.
